2009 Conference Evaluation
As a result of this conference I will......
- Try new literacy ideas throughout the curriculum
- Use the ‘Go Chart’ more effectively
- Continue to use ‘Brain Gym’ as an effective tool for learning
- Re-energize my staff as their Literacy Instructional Leader
- Incorporate new and effective strategies
Workshops I enjoyed were..... (Why?)
- ‘I See What You Mean’: practical, super ideas
- Both ‘Readers and Writers’ Workshops: interactive and engaging
- ‘Centres for the Junior Teacher’: as a new teacher, I found it hard to implement and offer a variety of centres, this workshop offered ways to do both.
- ‘Writing Rocks’: enthusiastic speaker, Intermediate Grades focus
- ‘Non-Fiction Writing’: excellent speaker, will implement the ideas and strategies presented
The facilities and food were....
- Great! Healthy food choices too!

- Workshop rooms clean and bright.
- Lunch was great.
- Appreciated that vegetarian choices were labelled
