How do I register for the Conference?
Registration for the 2011
Conference will be available late November 2010. All completed Registration
Forms must include a cheque payable to: Oakville Parent-Child Centre.
How do I register for a specific sessions?
Indicate your choices for each workshop
on the registration form. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your choices.
If none of your workshop choices are available an alternative will be selected for
you. Workshop feasibility
depends on registration numbers.
How will I know which workshops
I will be
attending?
Registration packages may be picked up
at the registration table on the day of the conference. Confirmation of your workshop choices are included
in your registration package but
will not be mailed.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes, receipts for the Conference will be emailed to you.
A hard copy of the receipt will be provided to you at the Conference.
Is there a student rate?
In our continuing effort to assist students
and seniors we are pleased to offer a special Conference rate to be announced in November.
When is the Conference brochure available?
The brochure will be available on the ‘For the Love of Literacy’
Conference website
in late November. In the brochure you will find information
about the conference including registration, workshops offered and directions. Brochures
will be available online for viewing and printing. Conference partners
and neighbouring school boards will also receive printed copies.
Will there be exhibits?
Yes, we are pleased to host a number of
publisher displays. Last year over 30 publishers provided exhibits and door prizes.
What is your refund policy?
Our non-refundable payment deadline is February 13, 2010
Inclement Weather policy?
In the event of inclement weather please
listen to your local radio stations for cancellation information.
